1. Create a YouTube channel. 
Basically your channel is your existence on YouTube. Each gmail account has one YouTube channel attached to it. Create a new gmail account or use your existing one.

Always use a secure user name because your user name can also work against you. If its long and copied from other YouTube channels, people will not remember you. If you are using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it directly in YouTube.

2. Upload Videos.
Always try to upload videos that are high quality, and short (2 to 5 minutes), and also depending on what type of videos you decide to upload. If you want to be successful so upload regularly and stay consistent with your uploads.


  • If your videos are not good from starting, keep at it and try to make new video better than the last one. You can improve your videos by either using a better camera or trying better editing software(like Adobe After Effect). 
  • If you are a Vlogger then use a tripod, have a friend help you and use light to make your videos better. (Tags are king of search engine) make sure to add tags in your videos, with keywords that describe the content, as well as an eye-catching description. These will help rank your video, and drive people to your video from YouTube searches. 


3. Gain Subscribers. 
Gaining subscribers is key to increasing your Revenue. You need people to watch your videos and YouTube ads to make any money. There is one secret to get more subscribers, just make the best videos, your subscriber should love your videos.



  • Keep uploading and uploading videos and try to get people addicted. Share your videos on social media. Share it with your friends/relatives and make your video viral. 
  • Try to interact with your subscribers/viewers by responding to comments and making face cam videos directly related to viewer comments and questions. This will bring more members into your community. 


4. Monetize your videos. 
Monetization means you are giving permission YouTube to place ads in your video. This is necessary to start earning money on your videos, you have to enable monetization. This also means that you make sure there is no copyrighted content in your video.

How to enable monetization?? 

  • Go to www.youtube.com and click “My Channel." 
  • Click the link called “Video Manager” from left bar. 
  • Click channel and Enable on monetization. 


5.fulfill the requirements to monetize videos. 

Your channel need at least 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1000 subscribers to enable monetization, and start earning money.
When requirements are fullfiled then you can apply for Google AdSense. (Step 6) 

6. Set up Google AdSense. 
Google AdSense is free for all publishers so, you can set up AdSense from here (google.com/adsense). First of all click on the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account.
Note: You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you are younger than that, you need help of an adult (friends/relative) to help you.


  • AdSense will verify who you are, and who to send the money to so, it requires PayPal or a bank account for verification.
  • AdSense will pay money per ad click, and a smaller amount per view. You should always concentrate on clicks. 


7. Apply for YouTube partner. 
YouTube Partners basically are YouTube members, mean they can monetize videos and have large number of viewers. Members/partners gain access to more content like creation tools, and can win different prizes for the number of viewers have.

  • Minimum requirement for this program is you must have at least 15000 watch hours in last 90 days.
